Education and background

Me Yoann FAVRE studied law at the University of Lausanne between 2016 and 2021. He obtained a degree in “Litigation Law”.

In this context, he participated in the Swiss Moot Court, a competition for which he drafted with his teammates a fictitious appeal in civil matters to the Federal Court.

He joined MC Avocats SA in November 2021 as a trainee attorney.

Experience

During his studies, Me Yoann FAVRE made it a point to train himself in the effective practice of law. To this end, he began by completing a summer internship at the BVG and Foundation Supervisory Authority of Western Switzerland in 2017.

In 2018, he completed his training with an internship at the Tribunal d’arrondissement de l’Est-Vaudois, in Vevey, during which he was able to attend hearings in various areas of both civil and criminal law.

From 2019 to 2021, he worked as a lawyer for the EPFL Junior Entreprise, where he was able to improve his contractual drafting skills in both French and English, and to give legal advice in various fields.

After graduation, he worked as a university intern at the Federal Chancellery in Bern (2021) in the “Official Publications” section.
