Education and career path
Me Arthur SEPPEY first graduated with a Bachelor of Law awarded by the University of Lausanne in 2014 and then with a bilingual Master of Law jointly awarded by the Universities of Zurich and Lausanne in January 2017. He spent two semesters at the University of Zurich in 2015.

Between 2017 and 2019, he evolved as a trainee attorney at the RITZ law firm in Sion. In the context of his attorney traineeship, he had the opportunity to familiarise himself with all the legal fields, including civil law, criminal law and public law and the related legal proceedings.

He joined the law firm MC Avocats SA in September 2021 as an associate attorney.

Experience
During his studies he worked as a trainee for the Cantonal Bank of Valais (BCVs) in the legal & compliance department at the bank’s headquarters.

Before starting his attorney traineeship he also worked twice at the Valais Public Prosecutor’s Central Office. Thanks to this experience he was able to improve his criminal law knowledge and familiarise himself with the professional activity of a public authority.

In this context he has been associated to two publication, one regarding the plaintiff’s obligation to cooperate in the criminal proceedings published in the case law review of the Canton of Valais (RVJ 4/2016 page n° 442) and another one, as co-author, regarding the hearing of an allophone comparing party published in the forumpoenale national review (06/2017, page n° 418).

Since becoming active at the Bar, he has continued to improve his skills in legal representation, particularly in the criminal litigation.
